We're Moving!

Join the team of volunteers helping us with the move!

ON-SITE HELP: Moving days are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Aug 7-9. For those with muscles and/or trucks, we can use help to physically move furniture and boxes. 

We also need people who can help us unpack and organize during the moving times, or in the weeks thereafter.  

Can’t physically participate but want to help? Here are some items still needed for our new space: 

Apartment-sized refrigerator like Lowe’s item # 5286009 (Hotpoint model HPS10LSVRSS 

Countertop microwave with handle for easy door opening 

Single serve coffee maker, or one with dual option of single serve or pot 

2 small conversation tables  

2 Wall Clocks with easy to read faces 

1 heavy-duty rolling cart or dolly 

1 3-step folding step stool 

2 whiteboards 1 approximately 6’ x 4’; the other 5’ x 4’ 

1 4-handset telephone system 

THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE:

K-cup type coffee pods, creamer, sugar, and sugar substitute packets 

5 trash cans, approximately 4-gallon size 

1 13-gallon trash can with a lid for the kitchen. For disability access, we prefer something that does not open by foot or wave of hand, but rather a swinging lid, Rubbermaid type. 

Cleaning supplies for bathroom: toilet brush and cleaner, Clorox or Lysol type wipes, air freshener, toilet paper 

Cleaning supplies for kitchen: liquid dish soap, dish cloths, dish towels, 2 potholders, surface cleaner 

General cleaning: Mop, Bucket, Broom, Stick Vacuum for hard surface floors 

Utensils for 8 

Glasses for 8 

Mugs for 8 

Paper plates, napkins, bowls, disposable coffee cups with lids, disposable plastic cups for cold drinks, straws that flex,  

4 wall-mount inboxes (slant type) 

Package of corkboard tiles

1 high-quality microphone with a flexible stand for use when meeting online, dictating, and video or podcast recording.
