Please Pray with Us

Please Pray with Us

If you follow Jerry or me (Joan) on our social media accounts, you may have already learned of this prayer need.

At the time this posts, I’ll be preparing for surgery on Monday 12/30. About two months ago, it was discovered that I had stage 1 cancer. We are truly thankful that God revealed this, as stage 1 is hard to catch.

Since the original diagnosis, further tests have shown no spread of the cancer. Again, another reason to be grateful. My surgeon hopes that as he removes the diseased organs, that will eradicate all the cancer in my body.

Yes Lord, may it be so.

Jerry and I, along with Anna and Bethany, are grateful for your prayer support and encouragement. I will need several weeks off from work to recover. I have full confidence in the team God has given us. Luke 14 Exchange will continue along quite well.

Someone from our team will update our Luke 14 Exchange social media and publish a quick blog post after I’ve come out of surgery and recovery.

Once again, I am so thankful that you care. You encourage all of us with your comments, notes, support, and prayer. Lord willing, we get rid of this disease in 2024 and enter 2025 with renewed health and strength for each of us to serve as God directs!
