MEET JERRY & JOAN BORTON
doing this together
Jerry Borton has lived with cerebral palsy for 60 years and has a few miles of life experience. Joan grew up with friends with disabilities and has a broad history of working with people with disabilities. Together, Jerry and Joan help people with disabilities find their purpose, value, and community. We understand the enormous barriers all around but have created Luke 14 Exchange to help individuals affected by disability to find answers and meaning.
MOVING FORWARD
Building roadmaps FOR YOUR SPECIFIC JOURNEY
We have 40 years each of professional ministry with people affected by disability. Our friends are people with disabilities; our passion is in helping people with disabilities find their purpose and community!

Tim has been a long time friend of ours and is an award-winning Filmmarker.
“Jerry has the same disability I do, which makes it easier to talk to him because he gets it. We talk every other week. He is one of the few mentors I have who makes sure he understands every word before answering. He also says to interrupt him if he is saying stuff that isn’t helpful. This sort of ministry has been on Jerry’s heart for several years now, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.“
